Throw your sprouts into the steamer for the last few minutes to add flavor and nutrition. Any sprouts can be used, but Bean sprouts such as Mung work a treat!

Don't worry if you have too many sprouts left over. They are great steamed. Also, I have found that they mix in well with the vegetables and the kids don't even notice!

Most people know about the valuable Superfood Chia seed? Well, you can sprout them as a salad too! Sprinkle them into a pot or container with potting mix then, pick them young, fresh and live. Then throw them straight into salads (Yummy)
This sandwich contains fresh salad straight from my Potted Vegetable Garden including 4 types of sprouts Mung, Chia, Cress and Lentil. The only ingredients I haven't produced myself is the bread and cheese.
