Easy Chilli Recipes

Welcome to my post about Easy Chilli Recipes! For so long chillies has been a very common spice that has been added to food as an appetizer and as a flavoring at the same time. There has been  also a lot of recipes that compliments with chillies and serves as flavor enhancer which brings excitement to the foods, because some foods are quite boring and dull without spice, especially chillies!

Chillies also varies from individual, some people love just a little chilli sting in their tongue, some want it just right to make them lose a little sweat, while others love it extra hot and extra spicy that can be really be painful in the mouth. But they love the feel and the flavor of it however. So, remember when you want to cook a recipe with chilli  try to find out their chilli tolerance, do not base it on your own tolerance, others might not like too much chilli on their food.

Today, I will share with you some easy chilli recipes, remember that not all chilli recipes need really be too hot, it can be moderately hot or maybe just a little sting will do, if you really want a hotter version of the food you can have a separate chilli sauce or separate hotter dish so that everybody can enjoy the food and everybody will have their own level of desired chilli flavor. Below is a video and some recipes and I hope you can find some great ideas and apply it for your family and friends to enjoy!



Easy and Quick Homemade Chilli Recipes

More chilli recipes here, easy to do, almost instant quick, and absolutely delicious! Try these recipes or get some good ideas, create your own and enjoy more chilli recipes!

Easy Chili I

Ingredients

    1 pound ground beef
    1 cup chopped onion
    1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
    2 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
    4 teaspoons finely chopped jalapeno chile peppers
    1 (29 ounce) can diced tomatoes
    1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
    1 (16 ounce) can chili beans, undrained
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    In a large saucepan over medium high heat, combine the ground beef, onion and bell peppers. Saute for about 5 minutes, or until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
    Add the chili powder, garlic, bay leaf, cumin, chile peppers, tomatoes, tomato sauce and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Stir in the beans and heat through.

Easy Homemade Chili

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 pinch chili powder
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
Directions
  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the beef and onion and saute until meat is browned and onion is tender. Add the stewed tomatoes with juice, tomato sauce, beans and water.
  2. Season with the chili powder, garlic powder, salt and ground black pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and let simmer for 15 minutes.Click here to view article source
   
Simple Chili

    1 lb extra lean ground beef
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 garlic clove , finely chopped
    1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes , undrained
    1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
    1 tablespoon chili powder
    3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1 (15 -16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained or 1 (15 -16 ounce) can pinto beans , if desired

Directions:

    1
    Cook beef, onion and garlic in 3 qt saucepan until beef is brown.

    Stir in remaining ingredients except beans.

    Heat to boiling, reduce heat to low.
    4
    Cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

    Stir in beans.
    6
    Heat to boiling, reduce heat to low.

    Simmer uncovered about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until desired thickness.
    8
    To freeze for OAMC: Let chili cool to room temperature and then place into quart-size freezer bag. Remove air and freeze flat on a cookie sheet. Once frozen, can be stored in freezer standing up or stacked horizontally.

    To serve, thaw in fridge overnight and then transfer to a pot and reheat over medium low heat until heated through.
